Crystal Palace has signed a contract with Pierre Sage as their new head coach, replacing Oliver Glasner. Sage, who previously led Lens, has impressed with his performance in the last season.

Renowned journalist David Ornstein reported on social network X that the 47-year-old coach has agreed to a three-year deal with Crystal Palace. He will be joined by Jamal Alioui, who was his assistant at Lens.

The club is expected to make an official announcement regarding Sage’s appointment within the next 48 hours. Currently, Sage is in the process of obtaining a work permit in England, which will enable him to start training with the team.

Last season, Sage achieved significant success with Lens, winning the French Cup and finishing second in Ligue 1, marking a remarkable performance for the club.
