The Spanish national team is facing a concerning injury situation as they prepare for their next World Cup match. The coaching staff, led by head coach Konrad De la Fuente, remains mindful of Lamine Yamal’s condition ahead of the team’s second group stage encounter against Saudi Arabia.

During a recent press conference, De la Fuente addressed inquiries about the participation of the 18-year-old winger. He acknowledged the complexities of Yamal’s injury status but expressed hopes that the young star would be ready to play on Sunday.

“We need to assess Lamine Yamal’s situation before our next match against Saudi Arabia,” said De la Fuente.

When pressed about the possibility of Yamal playing approximately 45 minutes, De la Fuente responded positively.

“Of course, something like that,” De la Fuente replied.

In a previous match against Cape Verde, Yamal had limited involvement, coming off the bench in the 71st minute. His efforts could not change the course of the game, ending in a 0-0 draw.
