Clubs Across Europe Eye Tottenham Players Amid Summer Transfer Rumors

Tottenham Hotspur is set for a significant squad overhaul when the summer transfer window opens. The club has faced challenges in the attacking department, prompting expectations for changes during the off-season.

As the management team at Hotspur Way searches for new talent, several Tottenham players are attracting interest from other clubs. Guglielmo Vicario is likely to leave, having agreed to personal terms with Inter Milan. Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven have been sought after by some of Europe’s leading clubs, and Radu Dragusin’s agent is actively exploring a summer exit from N17.

Recently, another club has shown interest in acquiring a Tottenham player.

Paris FC Target Mathys Tel for Summer Signing

According to an exclusive report from LE10Sport, Ligue 1 outfit Paris FC is keen to sign Mathys Tel. The Tottenham forward, who has had a tumultuous season, is now viewed by the French club as a potential ‘star player’ for the upcoming season.

Having secured their place in Ligue 1 for the next season, Paris FC’s owners are prepared to invest in new talent to strengthen their squad. The interest in Mathys Tel comes after he experienced a season filled with ups and downs in North London.

Due to limited playing time, Tel has spent a significant period on the sidelines but has remained committed and diligent in his training. Despite being linked with a move during the January transfer window, he opted to stay with Spurs amid an injury crisis.

Following De Zerbi’s appointment as head coach in March, Tel has begun receiving more playing time. He has notably contributed in recent matches, including a solid performance in Tottenham’s 2-1 victory over Aston Villa.

Retaining Tel Should Be Spurs’ Priority

Tel’s frustrations with Tottenham are understandable. The club turned his loan from Bayern Munich into a permanent deal in June 2025, promising him regular playing time to aid his development. However, instability and frequent managerial changes have hindered his growth at N17.

If Tottenham faces relegation to the Championship, Paris FC may make a move for the French forward. Despite not yet making a significant impact since his permanent transfer, Tel, now 21, has the potential to develop into a top-level player for Spurs, having scored three goals and provided two assists this season.

It would be unwise for club officials to abandon Tel too soon. Should Paris FC make an overture, Tottenham must firmly reject any advances for this promising young talent.
