The manager of the Egyptian national football team, Hossam Hassan, has expressed uncertainty regarding his future following the upcoming World Cup. In a recent interview, he revealed that he does not have clarity on the specifics of his contract with the Egyptian Football Association.
Despite the lack of information, Hassan emphasized his commitment to the team. He stated, “I don’t yet know if I will continue with the national team after the World Cup, as I am unaware of the details of my contract with the Federation. I am focusing solely on my work, and the rest is in Allah’s hands. All I hope for is to be able to make the fans happy and continue to fly the flag for Egypt.”
This announcement comes just weeks ahead of the World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Egypt is set to compete in Group G, where they will face Belgium, New Zealand, and Iran during the group stage.
