Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! The ‘Special One’ was at it again with his antics, this time earning him a 4 match ban from the Turkish League. This is not the first time he has been banned for some notorious comments or activities and surely will not be the last. Many have come in criticism of him for drawing unnecessary parallels about players and commenting about referees.
Mourinho’s Rant Against The Galatasaray Bench
Following Monday’s 0-0 draw, Mourinho, 62, said that the home bench had been “jumping like monkeys.” “After the big dive in the first minute and their bench jumping like monkeys on top of the kid… with a Turkish referee you would have a yellow card after one minute and after five minutes I would have to change [substitute] him,” Mourinho said when questioned about an incident involving his 19-year-old defender Yusuf Akcicek that occurred early in the game.
He also reportedly repeated his criticism of Turkish referees.

After Monday’s game, the 62-year-old Portuguese coach reportedly walked to the referee’s dressing room and told the fourth official that “if you were a referee, this match would be a disaster.”
For his remarks on Turkish match officials, former Chelsea, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur manager Mourinho has already received fines and suspensions.
Mourinho‘s remarks, according to Fenerbahce, were taken out of context.
The disciplinary board of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) suspended him for four games on Thursday for his remarks against the fourth referee and for his comments against the Galatasaray bench.
Fenerbahce currently sit second behind Galatasaray, any positive result for Fenerbahce would have helped them in catching the league leaders making the Süper Lig more interesting.
