Enzo Maresca is set to take over as the new head coach of Manchester City, following the departure of Pep Guardiola. According to the reputable journalist Fabrizio Romano, the club’s management has reached an agreement with the 46-year-old Italian specialist.
Reports indicate that Maresca, currently a free agent after leaving Chelsea earlier this year, is expected to sign a three-year contract with the Citizens. All terms have reportedly been finalized, pending only the official signature.
Maresca brings relevant experience to the role, having previously served on Guardiola’s coaching staff from 2022 to 2023, in addition to his work with Manchester City’s youth teams.
