Mason Greenwood has been continuing his fine form in France as the attacker has already beaten his goal tally from last year.

In 2024 the Manchester United academy graduate made a permanent move from Old Trafford, following a loan spell with Getafe, which aimed to restart his career.

With Getafe, Greenwood won the Player of the Season award, scoring ten goals and grabbing six assists in 36 games.

However, his move to Marseille saw him take this to a whole new level.

In his debut season in France, Mason Greenwood scored 22 goals and grabbed six assists in 36 games, over doubling his output from that in LaLiga.

Now, his second year has seen him excel even further. In 42 games, he’s scored 25 goals and grabbed ten assists, showing his consistency across multiple seasons.

The Old Lady have been keeping tabs on the 24-year-old for three years, with Juve’s technical director in 2024 trying to sign him, having extensive conversations with Manchester United.

However, Marseille ultimately got their man, but Juve didn’t give up their pursuit.

Now, Liverpool-for-mohamed-salah-replacement/”>the Turin-based side are facing losing Francisco Conceicao, with Premier League sides like Manchester United and Liverpool looking to the star.

As such, Juventus are now renewing their interest in Mason Greenwood as Conceicao’s potential replacement.

With Marseille currently at risk of missing out on Champions League football next season, sitting in sixth in Ligue 1, the club could be forced to sell some of their players with reduced revenue.

This pushes the reality that Greenwood could be offloaded to support the finances of the French side; however, a move will also benefit Manchester United.

In his £22.5 million (€26 million) move to Marseille, a 50% sell-on clause was included to see The Red Devils benefit from any potential sale.
