The club’s academy is thriving, with several promising prospects nearing senior team involvement, including highly-rated 15-year-old JJ Gabriel. The young striker has netted 22 goals for the Under-18s this season, outperforming United’s closest competitor by 15 goals.

United secured their quarter-final position with a 3-2 win over Sunderland in the last round, with goals from Chido Obi, Jack Fletcher, and Shea Lacey paving their way to victory.
