Franco Colapinto Receives Advice from Lionel Messi After Miami Grand Prix Success

Alpine driver Franco Colapinto, 22, achieved his best finish in Formula 1, securing seventh place in the Miami Grand Prix, ahead of notable competitors including Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and the Williams duo Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon.

The race did not begin smoothly for Colapinto, who encountered a dramatic moment on the opening lap when he collided with Lewis Hamilton, damaging the SF-26.

Nevertheless, Colapinto demonstrated his skill and determination by earning his top-ever finish in an F1 race.

Before the race, Colapinto was seen meeting Argentine football star Lionel Messi in the paddock, where the Inter Miami player shared some valuable advice with the Alpine driver.

Lionel Messi Shares Insights with Franco Colapinto in Miami

In a conversation with Lo Del Pollo, Messi encouraged Colapinto to forge his own path and emphasized the importance of having a supportive circle. He stated, “I think he has to live his own story. And be prepared for a lot of things, because when you’re in the public eye, things come at you from all sides, the good and the bad.”

Messi added, “And especially in the bad times, he needs support, with those close to him, his family, his circle, because in the end, that’s what helps him get through difficult times. Because when things are going well, it’s much easier and people get closer to you, but the important thing is knowing who’s there when things are going badly.”
