PLAYER STATS
- Mallory Swanson made her first NWSL appearance since November 8, 2024, returning from maternity leave that started at the beginning of 2025.
- Temwa Chawinga scored five goals in two games, becoming the first Current player to achieve multiple goals in consecutive matches. She outscored all opponents at CPKC Stadium, leading 31-27.
- Barbra Banda’s goal streak ended at three on Tuesday, but she scored again on Saturday, bringing her total to nine goals in 10 games. She currently leads the golden boot race, followed by Ashley Sanchez with six goals and Chawinga with five.
- Marta converted her 15th penalty from 16 regular season attempts with the Pride on Tuesday, having completed 12 consecutive conversions. She has also successfully converted a playoff penalty.
- Janine Sonis completed a brace for the second game in a row, becoming the first Denver Summit player to achieve this feat in the team’s nine-game history. The Washington Spirit have seen 286 regular season games without a player achieving this.
- Jordan Silkowitz extended her scoreless streak to 289 minutes before Amanda Gutierres scored against her via penalty, establishing a Bay club record.
- Mandy McGlynn’s personal shutout streak reached 459 minutes before conceding against Louisville on Sunday, marking a team record. Additional contextualized team stats follow.
- Seb Hines coached his 100th regular season game with the Pride over the weekend, achieving a record of 45-34-21, which includes the 2024 Shield. He becomes the sixth coach to manage the same team for 100 games. Other notable coaches include Rory Dames (Red Stars, 182 games), Mark Parsons (Thorns, 116), Laura Harvey (Reign, 116 and 110), Paul Riley (Courage, 111), and Vlatko Andonovski (FC Kansas City, 110). Note that the NWSL does not recognize the Western New York Flash and North Carolina Courage as a continuous club, which would exclude Riley from this list.
- Kate Del Fava remains perfect in minutes played for the Royals, having participated in all 5,580 minutes across 62 games since the team’s inception in 2024. Before joining Utah, Del Fava played 46 consecutive games for the Current, bringing her overall streak to 108 games, the second longest in league history behind Kaleigh Kurtz.
- Kaleigh Kurtz has now played 123 consecutive regular season matches and surpassed the 11,000-minute mark, finishing the weekend on 11,032 consecutive minutes, setting remarkable league records. Her streak began on June 26, 2021, while playing for the Courage, with the unrounded number attributed to a rain-shortened match in 2023.
- No NWSL players made league debuts during Week 8.
