Oswin Appollis celebrated Orlando Pirates’ dominant 3-0 victory over AmaZulu in their recent match. The Bafana Bafana international contributed significantly by scoring the team’s second goal at the Orlando Amstel Arena, earning him the title of Man of the Match.
The victory was complemented by goals from Yanela Mbuthuma and Relebohile Mofokeng, allowing Abdeslam Ouaddou’s side to ascend to the top of the table with a total of 58 points.
In an interview with Orlando Pirates TV, Appollis remarked, “Overall, the team fought on Saturday. We’re very happy with the three points and the three goals.” He added, “We wanted to get more goals but it wasn’t meant to be.”
Looking ahead, he expressed confidence in the team’s performance, stating, “We’ll keep on pushing and like the boys said in the dressing room, we’ll keep pushing game by game and we will continue next week.”
