Major changes are on the horizon for Manchester City as the club approaches the end of the 2025/26 season. Among the most significant shifts will be within the coaching staff.
According to Sam Lee of The Athletic, long-time fitness coach Lorenzo Buenaventura, who has been a part of Pep Guardiola’s team for 15 years, is set to leave the club once the season concludes. Additionally, goalkeeping coach Xabi Mancisidor is also expected to exit.
In other news, Manchester City’s 29-year-old Spanish defensive midfielder, Rodri, is reportedly close to signing a new contract with the club. Currently, there have been no official negotiations with Real Madrid regarding the player, who is eager to continue his tenure at the Etihad.
Juventus are pushing hard to sign Manchester City’s 31-year-old attacking midfielder.
