Manchester United Eye Aurelien Tchouameni for Summer Midfield Overhaul

Aurelien Tchouameni has recently made it onto Manchester United’s shortlist for a potential transfer this upcoming summer, as the club seeks to undertake a significant rebuild.

In fact, the club is set to secure his long-term future in Spain by offering a contract extension beyond his current expiration date in 2028.

The midfielder’s ability to play both in midfield and as a back-up centre-back is believed to be a significant factor in Madrid’s strategy to retain their star player.

Additionally, the LaLiga giants are contemplating a wage increase as part of the contract discussions, acknowledging his contributions to the club.

Consequently, United will need to present compelling terms to entice the 26-year-old to Old Trafford.

However, with his current contract still valid for two more years, Madrid holds a strong position in transfer negotiations, allowing them to demand a significant transfer fee for the midfielder.
