Milan has officially appointed Rúben Amorim as the new head coach, according to an announcement today on the club’s official account on social network X. The 41-year-old Portuguese manager returns to a managerial role after his most recent tenure at Manchester United, which ended earlier this year due to disappointing results.

The contract between Amorim and Milan is set to run until 2028, with the option for an additional year. The club’s management believes that Amorim possesses the skills necessary to bring the team back to the top of Italian football and achieve consistent success on the international stage.

Amorim has garnered a reputation for his effective work with young talents and his innovative tactical strategies. Before his time at Manchester United, he held coaching positions at Sporting, Braga, and Casa Pia, where he developed a strong track record in player development and team performance.
