Hugo Broos, the head coach of Bafana Bafana, has expressed unwavering confidence as his team prepares for an upcoming match against South Korea. Following a 1-1 draw against Czechia in the Group A match held at Atlanta’s Mercedes Benz Stadium, Broos is optimistic about his team’s prospects.

Teboho Mokoena netted the equalizer for Bafana after Czechia initially took the lead. Despite the draw, Broos noted some concerns regarding the gameplay, highlighting the physicality and strategy of the Czech team.

“I think the public chose the best football team on the pitch,” Broos remarked. He described the Czech side as “very powerful” and noted their reliance on height in their playing style. He emphasized the need for Bafana Bafana to focus on their next challenge.

“We don’t have to count on someone else. We just have to win the game against South Korea, which will be very difficult,” he stated. The match against South Korea is scheduled for next Thursday.
