Nigerian forward Stanley Iheanacho has rejoined Danish Superliga side FC Midtjylland following his departure from Portuguese club CD Mafra. The striker has committed to a long-term contract that will keep him at the club until December 31, 2030, as FC Midtjylland seeks to nurture promising young talent.
The club’s sporting director, Kristian Bach Bak, expressed his enthusiasm regarding Iheanacho’s signing, noting the player’s remarkable journey and development across various countries at a young age.
“Stanley is still a young boy who came very far from home early on. He traveled from Nigeria to Denmark and then from Denmark to Portugal,” Bak told the club’s official website.
