Orlando Pirates midfielder Tshepang Moremi believes that their recent performance against Durban City will bolster their chances of clinching the PSL title. The Pirates earned a hard-fought single point in a goalless draw at the sold-out Orlando Amstel Arena, a match that was anticipated to finalize their championship bid.

The draw against the Nedbank Cup champions put a temporary hold on their ambitions, as a victory would have secured the Betway Premiership for the team under coach Abdeslam Ouaddou. The players’ inability to convert scoring opportunities ultimately affected their title quest.

Moremi remains optimistic, asserting that the upcoming game against Orbit College at Mbombela Stadium is crucial. “The point is gonna help us because there’s only have one game left, all we have to do is to push,” he stated during an interview with Orlando Pirates TV.

He encouraged his teammates to ignore detractors and stay focused on their goals, emphasizing the importance of their next match. “We know what we want and we know what our aim is. But next week, we have to get the job done. It’s a must,” Moremi added.
