Atalanta winger Marco Palestra, who recently completed a loan spell at Cagliari, is reportedly attracting interest from several clubs in England. According to Sky Sport, both Chelsea and Manchester City are keen on the 21-year-old Italy international.
The young defender’s impressive performances during his time in Italy have raised his profile, prompting these Premier League teams to gather information regarding a potential transfer. As of now, there have been no formal discussions with Atalanta, and neither club has made an official offer for Palestra.
Previously, Inter Milan was also linked with Palestra following Denzel Dumfries’ departure, but negotiations have stalled. Atalanta is reportedly not willing to sell the player for €40 million, especially given the escalating interest in him from other clubs.
During the 2025/26 season, Palestra played in 37 matches for Cagliari, contributing one goal and four assists.
