The CAF Champions League final between Mamelodi Sundowns and FAR Rabat will proceed without the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) due to a technical failure that prompted a temporary suspension of the match.

Match officials halted the game earlier because of issues with the VAR system, and technicians were unable to restore the technology in time to allow for its continued use. Consequently, match authorities have confirmed that the remainder of the final will take place without VAR assistance.

At the moment of the disruption, Mamelodi Sundowns were ahead with a score of 1-0, following a goal by Aubrey Modiba. The final is now set to continue under traditional officiating for the remainder of the match.
