Aston Villa attacking midfielder Morgan Rogers may be set for a transfer this summer as he has reportedly expressed his desire to leave the club. The 23-year-old has his sights firmly set on a move to London’s Arsenal, who claimed the Premier League title in the 2025/26 season.

According to HandofArsenal, Rogers has communicated his intentions to Aston Villa’s management and indicated that Arsenal is his preferred destination. It appears that contract terms are unlikely to hinder negotiations, as Rogers appreciates the club’s strategy and the style of play under manager Mikel Arteta.

During the 2025/26 season, Rogers made 55 appearances for Aston Villa, scoring 14 goals and contributing 12 assists. With a Transfermarkt valuation of €90 million, any potential transfer could prove a significant financial commitment for Arsenal.
