Bosnians find themselves in a challenging position amid their World Cup campaign.

Switzerland is on the verge of securing their first victory in this year’s World Cup. In a pivotal match against Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bosnian defender Tarik Muhamerovic was sent off following a reckless tackle.

The incident occurred during a swift Swiss attack, where Embolo was advancing towards the goal. Muhamerovic lunged in with a sliding tackle from behind, prompting the referee to issue a red card for what was deemed a last-man foul.

Fortunately for the Bosnian team, the foul occurred outside the penalty area, resulting in a free kick for Switzerland rather than a penalty. However, the Swiss team was unable to capitalize on this opportunity.

This incident marks the fourth red card issued during the current World Cup.
