Manchester United Scouts AC Milan vs Juventus for Potential Summer Transfers

Manchester United have sent a scout to watch AC Milan against Juventus as the club looks to prepare, identify, and make decisions on potential targets from both clubs.

With both teams boasting talented squads, United may look to act in the coming months as the summer transfer window opens to clubs worldwide.

The Red Devils plan to sign a left-winger and two midfielders in the upcoming summer transfer window, according to journalist Nicolo Schira on X.

Schira has also revealed that the scout attending the match will monitor Rafael Leao, who Manchester United have been linked to in the past.

Leao was at the center of transfer speculation last summer, with Manchester United reportedly preparing to submit a £60 million bid for the forward.

However, a deal never materialized, and the club shifted their focus to other attacking targets such as Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo, and Matheus Cunha.

Recent reports have reignited speculation with United, alongside Liverpool and Manchester City, said to be monitoring the Portuguese international.

A move to Old Trafford would see Rafael Leao join fellow Portuguese internationals Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot, with the trio all set to feature in this summer’s World Cup finals.

Leao has scored nine goals in Serie A this season, in addition to providing three assists, adding to AC Milan’s offensive threat as they aim for Champions League qualification next season.

A significant fee may be necessary to pursue a move for the 26-year-old, and the interest from both Liverpool and Manchester City could create competition for the forward.

United’s pressing need to strengthen their midfield this summer could put a potential Leao transfer on hold, although the club’s recruitment team may still aim to make this deal happen.
