Real Madrid is under pressure to intensify its efforts to retain young defender Victor Valdepenas amid rising interest from German club Eintracht Frankfurt.
According to respected journalist Florian Plettenberg on his X social media platform, Eintracht Frankfurt is making significant progress in negotiations for Valdepenas, one of Real Madrid’s promising young talents. The club has already submitted an official offer to secure the 19-year-old player, who currently represents Real Madrid Castilla.
Despite Valdepenas being a valuable asset, the negotiations are proving difficult as Real Madrid is hesitant to part ways with the young Spanish defender. However, Eintracht remains committed to finalizing the transfer.
Valdepenas is currently under contract with Real Madrid until 2029, with his market value estimated at 5 million euros, according to Transfermarkt.
