Amy James-Turner Joins Seattle United as Female Programming Coordinator and Coach

Manchester United’s presence in the football world continues to be felt each year as transfer windows come and go.

The January transfer window followed this tradition with several former Red Devils making moves across the world in search of better opportunities and playing chances.

With the summer window also coming up, it is likely that the influence and reach of the club will once again be felt by supporters across the world.

It is likely that those who have been out on loan at clubs across the United Kingdom will return, including Ethan Wheatley who has been at Bradford City and Ethan Ennis who has been at Fleetwood Town.

Ennis has impressed during his spell, however, and has been rewarded with a one-year contract extension as a display for his efforts across the campaign.

Now, Seattle United, who are aiming to make their mark, have announced their latest recruitment, with this signing being a former Manchester United player.

Announcing the news on their Instagram page, the club have announced that Amy James-Turner has joined the club as their new Female Programming Coordinator and Coach.

James-Turner recently left Tottenham Hotspur on a free deal with this looking to be due to her taking up this new position at Seattle United in the United States of America.

The 34-year-old joined Manchester United in 2018, making 50 appearances and scoring two times, before leaving the club to join Orlando Pride in 2021.

Her latest move signals a shift towards coaching and away from playing football, which could be said to hint towards her plans following her professional football career concludes.

Amy James-Turner will now shift her focus towards her new role as she aims to make it a success as the summer and subsequent months approach.
