Durban City midfielder Thabo Nodada has expressed concerns about the intense atmosphere his team will face during their upcoming match against Orlando Pirates at the Orlando Amstel Arena on Saturday. He acknowledges that the stadium will be largely filled with Pirates supporters, which could create a challenging environment for his side.
Nodada noted that the game, part of the Betway Premiership, is expected to be a tough fixture, especially given the sold-out status of the event. “We’re not going to enjoy that game, we’re not,” he remarked, highlighting the pressures associated with the high stakes.
A victory for Orlando Pirates in this matchup would secure the Premier Soccer League (PSL) title for the Sea Robbers, as they are currently three points behind the league leaders, Mamelodi Sundowns. However, Pirates maintain a superior goal difference, which would grant them the title if both teams end the season on equal points.
