London’s Tottenham Hotspur are ramping up their efforts to strengthen Roberto De Zerbi’s squad ahead of the new season.

Details: Reports from Football Insider indicate that Tottenham has a keen interest in Maghnes Akliouche, a midfielder for AS Monaco and France international. The 24-year-old is expected to participate in the upcoming World Cup, where he will be closely observed by scouts worldwide.

Monaco is reportedly confident that Akliouche will depart the club this summer, with the World Cup offering a significant opportunity to enhance his market value. Tottenham has been monitoring the player’s progress and believes he possesses the skills necessary to elevate the team’s performance.

In the 2025/26 season, Akliouche played 42 matches for Monaco, contributing seven goals and 11 assists. His current market value is estimated at €50 million, and he is under contract until 2028.
