A scandal has emerged regarding the emergency call-up of Trevoh Chalobah to replace the injured Tino Livramento. Fans were quick to criticize coach Thomas Tuchel for excluding Trent Alexander-Arnold, but the actual reason is attributed to an organizational oversight rather than tactical decisions.

Details: Reports from Indykaila News, citing Sky Sports, reveal that officials from the English Football Association (FA) were unable to locate Alexander-Arnold in the critical moments leading up to the decision. The star defender was reportedly on holiday after the conclusion of the club season, leaving officials unaware of his whereabouts.

This unexpected situation raised significant concerns within the England squad, as even if Alexander-Arnold were to receive a call-up, it was unclear whether he could complete the necessary paperwork and travel to the USA in time for the imminent group-stage match against Croatia.

With time constraints pressing and the match approaching, Tuchel had no option but to bypass the possibility of selecting the Real Madrid defender and instead opted for Chalobah, who was available and ready to join the team.

England is set to face Croatia, Panama, and Ghana in the World Cup group stage.
