Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has expressed his determination to come back stronger after being left out of France’s final squad for the World Cup. In a recent post on X, the 23-year-old reflected on Didier Deschamps’ decision, acknowledging his disappointment.
Camavinga stated,
“This is not the news I was hoping for, but that’s football. Of course, it hurts, especially knowing how much it means to me to wear this shirt. I will support and cheer for the team from home at every stage.
I wish my brothers all the best at the World Cup — make the country proud and bring the trophy home. I will keep working, keep fighting, and I will come back stronger.”
This season, Camavinga has participated in 41 matches for Real Madrid, scoring two goals and providing one assist. Earlier this season, he dealt with an ankle injury that kept him sidelined for nearly two months.
The announcement of the final roster by the France national team has led to discussions regarding the selection of players for the upcoming tournament.
