Manchester United Prepares for Summer Changes as Midfielder Toby Collyer Returns

Manchester United is gearing up for a series of changes this summer following the announcement that Casemiro will leave the club at the end of the season. Michael Carrick recently confirmed that the Brazilian has played his final game for the club, while several young players are expected to depart on temporary deals as well. The team continues its future planning under Carrick’s guidance.

In related news, Hull City has officially confirmed that a Manchester United midfielder will return to the club after the season concludes. In their official match preview ahead of the Championship Play-Off Final against Middlesbrough, Hull City announced that Toby Collyer will miss the game due to injury and has returned to Manchester United as per club protocols. Head Coach Sergej Jakirovic stated, “Toby is at Manchester United due to protocols; his season is done.”

Collyer joined Hull City on loan during the January transfer window and made five appearances for the Championship club. Unfortunately, the 22-year-old sustained an injury that ruled him out for the closing stages of the regular season.

Despite this setback, Collyer has left a positive impression on Hull City officials during his time at the club. Reports suggest that Hull City has already contacted Manchester United regarding a potential move to bring him back for the 2026/27 season. Collyer was previously featured in United’s first-team squad under multiple managers and was highly regarded at Carrington before his loan move.

As Hull City prepares to face Middlesbrough at Wembley, they will do so without the Manchester United loanee, as they aim to secure promotion to the Premier League.
