Inter Miami Offers First-Team Contract to Homegrown Midfielder Preston Plambeck
Inter Miami has signed homegrown midfielder Preston Plambeck to a first-team contract as of Wednesday. The 20-year-old’s deal is set to run through the end of the current season and includes options extending through 2028-29.
“I’ve worked my whole life to reach this moment, and I want to make my family proud,” Plambeck stated. “I think my pathway through the academy and the second team helped shape me by teaching me discipline and helping me understand the club’s style of play through all the coaches who guided me along the way.”
The Inter Miami academy product has made appearances in two MLS matches this season on short-term loans. Additionally, Plambeck has recorded three goals and four assists over 25 matches with the MLS Next Pro affiliate, Inter Miami CF II.
